One of the most horrifying manifestations of the fall of humanity into sin is the epidemic of abuse. The statistics point to a problem that touches every church and every family. What the statistics cannot capture, however, are the broken lives, the life-long heartache, the fear, and the devastation of relationships. As Christians we know that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ pierces this darkness with hope, compassion, and forgiveness. In 2018, the ACBC annual conference will focus on the problem of abuse and show how the resources of Scripture equip Christians to counsel abused persons and those who have harmed them.

Listen and see how the gospel transforms lives even in the darkest of stories.
