20+ Resources for Mental Health

The month of May is Mental Health Awareness month. This is an important month to bring attention to a crucial topic that impacts many individuals and families.

Many pastors and Christians feel inadequate to address the topic of mental illness and help those in need. Many church members feel that this issue is beyond the bounds of the Bible. We want to show the church that Jesus can bring healing to the most extreme problems of mental illness. The Bible has vital things to say about mental health.

Below are a few of the many resources that ACBC has produced in the past three years that address the various topics concerning mental illness. Many of these resources come from ACBC events. This October, our annual conference is on the topic of Faithfully Protestant: Biblical Counseling and the Reformation. We hope that you will join us for that event as we continue to bring a uniquely biblical perspective on these matters. It is our prayer that these resources equip you to faithfully help those you love.

Since ACBC has had a heart to reach deaf people and has at least one deaf certified member, I encourage you to add subtitles or provide transcripts of all video and audio resources that you make available on your web site.
