On this edition of Truth in Love, Dr. Lambert discusses the importance of Scripture for biblical counseling. He talks about the reformation and how one of the tenants of the reformation was “Scripture Alone”. As the reformers called for Scripture alone as the authority for salvation and life, biblical counselors should use the Bible as their authority in counseling. This does not mean that other information is not relevant in counseling, but that Scripture is the only authoritative source in counseling.
