Power for Counseling from the Epistles – Heath Lambert
This session was Dr. Heath Lambert’s plenary address at the 2012 ACBC Annual Conference on “Celebrating Variety: The Diverse and Unified Counsel of God.”
Heath serves as the Executive Director of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). He also serves as the Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is the Program Director of Biblical Counseling at the undergraduate institution, Boyce College. He has been teaching at Southern since 2006. Dr. Lambert is a frequent conference speaker and is the author or editor of several books including The Biblical Counseling Movement After Adams (Crossway, 2011), Counseling the Hard Cases: True Stories Illustrating the Sufficiency of God’s Resources in Scripture (B&H, 2012), and Finally Free: Fighting for Purity with the Power of Grace (Zondervan, 2013). Heath is thrilled to be married to Lauren, and loves life with their three children Carson, Chloe, and Conner.
