Biblical Counseling: A Golden Opportunity for Evangelism – Paul Peabody (Breakout Session 4)
This breakout session was given at the 2014 Annual Conference “The Gospel and Mental Illness.”
Paul Peabody (B.A., M.A.B.C.) has been a pastor for 29 years and has been certified with ACBC since 2005. From the beginning of his counseling training he has had a vision to use the ministry of biblical counseling to reach those who are still unbelievers. When he completed his MABC through Master’s College, he wrote his thesis on the subject: “Biblical Counseling as an Evangelistic Method: A Golden Opportunity.”
Paul and his wife Roycee (also certified with ACBC) have been in leadership in their current church for 21 years. They are the parents of nine children and have 24 grandchildren (at last count). They are developing an evangelistic counseling center through their church ministry. In addition, they have made several trips to Belize, C.A., to teach counseling in local churches.
