Suicide is now the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. The valley of the shadow of death can be powerful, personal, and painful. We have precious friends and family who feel there is no escape except to harm themselves. Jesus is the great shepherd who can lead us out of this dark valley. The Scripture confronts the depths of human despair with the restorative gospel of Jesus. We are called to minister that hope to the hurting. In 2019, ACBC’s annual conference will equip Christians to minister to the Word of God to those who feel as if all is lost.
