We are convinced that a commitment to biblical counseling is required in order to be faithfully Protestant. And we want everyone to be convinced. That is why we are giving away our 30 hour fundamentals of counseling course to anyone who registers for the 2017 Annual Conference starting Black Friday through December 30th.
At Faithfully Protestant (2017 Annual Conference), we will show how each doctrine of the Reformation has practical and relevant implications for counseling. The breakout sessions will also address crucial topics in discipleship and counseling. The categories are anger, anxiety, sex, conflict, sadness, and the physical body.

Anyone who registers for the 2017 Annual Conference Faithfully Protestant: Biblical Counseling and the Reformation, will receive the entire ACBC Fundamentals Track on video. This offer is not retroactive and is only for those who register from November 25th – December 31, 2016.
The Fundamentals Track ($100 Value) equips any Christian with the basic elements of discipleship and counseling. The 30 hour video conference covers marriage counseling, typical problems, an evaluation of secular therapy, and the role of psychiatric drugs in counseling. Whether you are a pastor, counselor or church member, this conference is for you. The Fundamentals track also completes the training portion of Phase 1 for those pursuing certification.

I need a tour guide! Since I’m new to your site I’m not sure I’m registering correctly for the webinars or the other offers for training. I believe I am registered for a webinar but dont see that info now.

Does the 30 hour conference training apply toward the needed level one if a group of friends wanted to watch it together in pursuit of certification.? How would they verify to you that they had watched this?

Jan, good question. Yes it does! We always recommend getting the training in person if possible (either at a nearby ACBC certified training center or our regional events) but this does count for Phase 1 of ACBC certification. After watching the training, When you apply for Phase 2, you will need to report on your certification application when and what training conference you watched. Hope this helps!

In registering for the 2017 annual conference – is there a code to be entered to receive the ’30 hour fundamentals of counseling course’ ? I just completed the registration and was ready to enter payment, but there was no reference to the 30 hour course, so I didn’t go any further. Should I call in my registration? Thanks for any info!

Don, Good question! Once you complete the registration and payment, you will automatically be emailed the code and link (in your confirmation email) to download the $100 course. If you have any trouble, just let us know!

My husband and I are both interested in attending the conference and pursuing certification. From the comments above, we understand we could view the videos together for the training component of Phase 1. For the conference, we saw a “married” category on the pricing chart. Would we each pay that amount? Thanks for your help!

Terri, great question! That is correct! You would both need to register separately to receive the “married” discount. Watching the Fundamentals videos does count for Phase 1 of certification! Hope to see you there!
